Cuz we can :)!

We are a family of 7 currently living in a 5th wheel and traveling the US.  The past 4 years we have been moving from state to state for employment reasons.  Packing up and unpacking an entire household of "stuff" gets really old after a while!  We finally decided to enjoy our travels to the fullest by simplifying.  We donated, sold, or stored the majority of the "stuff".  What was left went into the 5th wheel...easiest move EVER!

We are now 2 months into this trip and having a great time.  The next several posts will be catching up from where we started to where we are now.

  1. Melanie,
We are a family of 7 (5 kids ages 2-11) and have a Dutchman Tundra TT quad bunk we tow with a Chevy Suburban 2500. We don't RV full time, but are considering a few long term trips and are curious about your 5th Wheel and tow vehicle set-up.

I didn't realize that I never answered your question, I'm really sorry about that!!! Better late than never, right :)?

We have a 5th wheel and my husband tows it with his truck, a big Dodge dually. Because we have 7 in our family (just like ya'll), we don't all fit in his truck. So...we have to drive 2 vehicles. I follow the truck and camper in my Ford Expedition (it seats 8). We use the little hand held radios to talk while driving, it works out pretty good.
