Jackson Lake - Grand Teton NP

Yellowstone NP is full of so many amazing things...geysers, mud pots, waterfalls, canyons, mountains, and so much more.  As awesome as it all was, the raw beauty of it paled (just a little bit) in comparison to what we were greeted with just inside the boundary of Grand Teton NP.

This...

...nearly took my breath away.  Stunningly beautiful...

I have been through there a few different times and I don't think it had ever been quite that pretty.  Just the stillness of the water...

We stayed for a while, admiring the scenery...

The Aspen were putting on their golden show.  Other than Live Oaks, Aspen are my favorite trees...

We eventually made our way down to Colter Bay, where we would spend the next night.  That lake, those trees, the mountains...<3
