Dan had just gone on days off, so he was here with us :).
The kids were big helpers this year, each of them making a different dish for our dinner. It was fun to have them in the kitchen with me.
That evening, my oldest daughter and I slipped out to go for a walk on the beach.
We were greeted with sundogs! Those rainbow spots that are part of something called a 22 degree halo...so beautiful...
We walked and talked...picking up some bits of coral along the way. Coral is her favorite :).
It got dark way too quickly, we weren't ready to go back yet. So we didn't. We just kept walking...
